MARKET COMMENTRY

Interview with Kelly McAllister - Lough and Quay

With the current turbulence of the Northern Ireland property market being the subject of many local dinner parties, it may have come as a surprise that a venture such as Lough & Quay would be launched in the current business climate. But as Kelly explains, launching in a market such as this does have its upsides, “We find that most of our new clients are now looking for an alternative service, one whose main objective is to provide a high quality, bespoke service adding value to client’s portfolios with an ability to have quality and reliable tenants lined up for properties which is important when property finance costs are still so high.” Kelly further added that “Having been on the other side of property lettings and management as a client, we know what matters most to people. Putting our business at the client’s disposal and ensuring that their dedicated client manager is always available to deal with any issues they may have is our top priority. We want to establish our market leading guarantee that if we cannot find you a tenant for your property we will not ask for payment, which means that we work harder than everyone else to get, and more importantly retain your business.” Kelly continues, “Our aim is to have all our client’s properties 100% occupied 100% of the time combined with being managed in a fashion to give our clients complete peace of mind.”

Tenants aren’t forgotten about either and also receive a tailored, bespoke service at Lough & Quay with tenant managers tasked to look after individual tenant requirements ranging from individual private lettings to upmarket corporate lets. As Kelly explains, finding the right property can cause a headache, “All our tenants benefit from direct access to their tenant manager who can effortlessly guide them through the lettings process. We often have properties available which are not yet listed on the open market so we always recommend new tenants forward their requirements to us as soon as possible so we can best place their needs. We offer a new experience for tenants and having a database of quality properties on our books allows us to tailor their property search, making the most of the time you have to find a new home."
